My Focus is on Improving Men's Mental, Physical, & Emotional Health
I began my career as a Registered Nurse in New York City, fulfilling a lifelong dream. But little did I know, my true calling would emerge through practicing Thai-inspired bodywork—helping everyone understand the importance of health & wellbeing.
I studied in the United States, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Canada, and my home country, the Philippines.
What I love most about my work is my deep affection for my clients and the joy I feel in helping them gain flexibility, & reduce pain.
If you're visiting my site from another country and you are not familiar with AFAM here's what it means:
Key Meanings & Usage:
-
Origin: It started as an acronym for "A Foreigner Assigned in Manila," referencing American military personnel in places like Clark and Subic.
-
Broadened Meaning: Colloquially, it expanded to mean any foreigner in the Philippines, regardless of their reason for being there (tourist, worker, etc.).
-
Dating Context: It's frequently used in conversations about interracial relationships, often referring to foreign men dating Filipinas, sometimes carrying stereotypes or just describing the situation.
-
Beyond Manila: Even though it mentions Manila, the term is used for foreigners anywhere in the Philippines.
